Internet health program in Holbrook

When it comes to your health, good information is empowerment, but bad information can be dangerous.
Sachem Public Library in Holbrook is holding "Researching Health Issues on the Internet," a free seminar where you will learn which online sites have trustworthy health information. The seminar will give you tools to find the best physicians by researching their credentials and their certifications. You also will learn how to draw up a list of questions to ask your doctor at your next appointment.
The workshop is Wednesday, 4-5:30 p.m. It is aimed at adults 50 and older, but everyone is welcome.
