Divorce, remarriage and widowhood are three life passages many women face. Kati Marton has faced all three, much of it in the public eye.

Marton, a former correspondent for ABC News and National Public Radio, was married to ABC News anchor Peter Jennings for 14 years. About a year after the couple divorced in 1994, she married Richard Holbrooke, an influential U.S. diplomat and ambassador. Holbrooke died in 2010 while serving as President Barack Obama's special representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Martin, 64, a Long Island resident, will discuss her life and her recent memoir, "Paris: A Love Story," at Amagansett Library Saturday night at 6. The event is free; to register, call 631-267-3810.
