Nassau book of services for seniors is out

Nassau County has just released the new edition of its handbook aimed at seniors and older boomers. The "Directory of Services for Older Persons in Nassau County," now in its 15th edition, has been updated and revised.
The comprehensive 150-page book has contact information for local, state and federal agencies and organizations that serve seniors as well as a listing of local senior centers, assisted living facilities and nutrition programs. There also is information on where to find cultural activities and continuing education programs.
The book is available for free by calling the Nassau Office for the Aging at 516-227-8919. Organizations can request bulk copies by calling 516-227-8942.
