Worried about your memory? An online risk assessment tool may give you some answers and direction.

The tool, created by Jason Brand, director of the Division of Medical Psychology at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, works by flashing a list of several two-word combinations and asks you to remember them. No cheating — do not write them down.

Once the list is finished flashing, you will have to answer a fairly long questionnaire about your health status and lifestyle. Once that’s completed, you will be asked how many of the two-word combinations you remember. You will then get a dementia risk assessment report.

To access the test, go to nwsdy.li/alztool. There is a separate risk assessment tool on that page where you answer questions about a loved one whom you fear may have memory problems.
