Sachem Library to host housing fair

Whether you want to stay in the house where you now live or are thinking about moving to a senior community on Long Island, some guidance and ideas will be available at the free Senior Health and Housing Fair at Sachem Public Library.

The fair brings together remodeling experts with ideas on how you can make your present house safer and representatives from local senior communities who will describe the benefits and costs of moving to homes and neighborhoods set up especially for seniors.

To round out your visit, you can get health and wellness advice from physical and occupational therapists and legal and financial advice from eldercare specialists.
