Since getting your first driver's license, you've likely switched to newer cars as the older ones racked up years and mileage.

Unfortunately, there are no trade-ins available for our bodies that have racked up years and many miles, too. As we age, our loved ones often feel that our driving skills have eroded like old cars.

Here's a chance to show them you're still a safe driver.

"A Drive Through the Ages," a safe-driving seminar for seniors and their families, aims to renew driving skills and give family members confidence that everyone is safe with you behind the wheel.

The free Alzheimer's Disease Resource Center seminar is next Saturday, Oct. 12, 10 a.m.-noon, at the center's headquarters, 45 Park Ave., Bay Shore.
