The Fab Over 50 beauty bash

Learn how to look good and stay well at the FabOverFifty Beauty Bash next weekend at the Metropolitan Pavilion on West 18th Street in Manhattan.
The fair brings together an array of professionals, including hair and beauty stylists, fashion experts, plastic surgeons, cosmetic dentists and dermatologists. There will be demonstrations, seminars and consultations with beauty and wellness specialists.
Tickets are $75-$175, but Newsday readers can get them for half price with a special promotion code. The tickets are good both days of the fair (Oct. 1 from noon-7 p.m. and Oct. 2 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.). Each attendee will receive a gift bag of beauty products organizers say is worth $150.
