Fans of big bands and big brunches can get their fill when the Swingtime Big Band heads to the Friedberg Jewish Community Center in Oceanside Sunday, May 23.

The 20-piece orchestra will play many of the standards and classic theme songs of the Big Band era. There also will be a tribute to clarinetist and bandleader Artie Shaw, who was born May 23, 1910 - exactly 100 years before the day of the concert.

The $45 admission fee includes the concert and a full brunch starting at noon. The band takes the stage at 1 p.m. Bring your dancing shoes: There's a big dance floor in front of the stage.

Reservations are required. Call 516-634-4151 or visit friedbergjcc.org.
