Chances are some high points of your life were accompanied by some high notes from songs playing on the radio in the 1950s and '60s.

Lou Christie's falsetto drove "Lightning Strikes" and "I'm Gonna Make You Mine" into the Top 10 in the mid- and late 1960s. Jay Siegel, lead singer of the Tokens, made "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" a No. 1 hit in 1961 and "wimoweh" a high-pitched sing-along lyric.

Christie and Siegel, along with several other '50s and '60s performers, will star in Doo Wop Rocks Under the Stars next Saturday at Brookhaven Amphitheatre in Farmingville at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20-$40 in advance, $30-$50 the day of the event.
