Sixty may be the new 40, but for cars, 25 is the new antique.

You can get a look at about 500 vintage cars at one of Long Island's biggest auto shows Sunday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at Old Westbury Gardens. The Antique and Collectible Auto Show has been a spring tradition since 1967, when it was held in Eisenhower Park, then known as Salisbury Park. It's been at the gardens since 1977. Cars from the 1900s to the 1980s will be on display. Since cars must be at least 25 years old to be considered antiques, the cutoff this year is 1986. Tomorrow's featured models are prewar Chevrolets.

The show is free with admission to the gardens of $10, $8 for seniors older than 62. Since kids 7-17 get in for $5 and those 6 and younger are admitted free, take the grandkids and prove to them there are cars even older than you.
