If you've never visited historic Coindre Hall in Huntington, here's a chance to do it twice within a week.

The 100-year-old chateau-style mansion, now popular for weddings, will be the site of two events open to the public.

On Thursday, the North Shore Promotion Alliance is sponsoring a Gatsby-style Roaring '20s party from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Tickets are $25 in advance ($30 at the door), and include wine, hors d'oeuvres and dancing to a jazz band. There is also a cash bar. Call 631-751-2244 or visit longislandheritagetrail.com.

On May 23, the Family Service League features a luncheon at Coindre Hall for $30. The lunch is part of a day of fundraising events for the not-for-profit agency, topped off by the league's annual tour of five historic homes. The house tour is an additional $55.
