Vets can be at ease in chat series

Here's a way for Long Island's band of brothers — and sisters — to get together, swap stories and renew the bonds that tie them together.

Arbors Assisted Living Communities is holding free Vet Chats at its centers in Bohemia, Hauppauge, Islandia and Westbury the second week of every month. Residents and nonresidents who are armed-services veterans are invited to participate in an afternoon of socializing, networking or simply enjoying refreshments.
