Vets, tell your stories for history project

Veterans Day is Monday, and if you served in the armed forces during wartime or were part of the support effort at home, the Library of Congress wants to hear your stories.
As part of the Library of Congress' Veterans History Project, the Middle Country Library in Centereach is conducting interviews with veterans who can give firsthand accounts about serving in the nation's wars, preserving their stories for future generations.
The library also wants to hear from civilians who served the war effort at home. This includes defense-industry contractors, USO workers, flight instructors and medical volunteers.
