Rich cribs: Alicia Keys sells manse
It took 266 days and several price reductions, but Grammy Award-winning singer Alicia Keys has finally found a buyer for her Muttontown mansion.
The seven-bedroom, 6 1/2-bath, 9,000-square-foot house went into contract March 11, according to real estate records. Keys put the 2.2-acre property on the market in June 2010 for $3.85 million. She lowered the price in November to $2.995 million.
The contract price has not yet been disclosed.
Listing agent Alexis Siegel of Core Long Island LLC could not be reached for comment. Patricia Pascullo of Shawn Elliott Luxury Homes & Estates found the buyer.
