In 2009, talent manager Sandy Gallin put his Bridgehampton mansion on the market for $32 million. The price for the 14.6-acre estate has been cut at least twice and now stands at $19.995 million.

The estate is made up of three lots Gallin purchased for less than $6 million in 2001. Published reports show he had the property on the market briefly in 2004 for $21 million. Gallin, who has represented Mariah Carey and Michael Jackson, has bought, renovated and sold more than 30 homes. The property is listed as a co-exclusive with Linda Haugevik of Saunders & Associates and Susan Breitenbach of The Corcoran Group. - LAURA MANN

FRENCH MODERN

A French provincial-style estate in Southampton recently sold for $10 million, according to the Long Island Real Estate Report. The 5,600-square-foot home originally was a dairy barn, and its kitchen includes a dining area in the former silo. But it's none too rustic - there are cherry cabinets, marble countertops and commercial-grade appliances. The listing was a Sotheby's International Realty exclusive.

BEACH BUZZ

Depending on your definition of a bargain, now might be a good time to score one in the luxury summer home market. In Long Beach, you can buy a resort-style oceanfront condo for less than a million bucks - just. The 36-unit Aqua Condominiums has marked down three of its units to $999,000. "Most of the sales in the building are over $2 million," says Jackie Urgo of Marketing Directors Inc., exclusive sales and marketing firm for the properties. Penthouse units in the building are priced at just over $3 million, Urgo says. You'll find a doorman and a concierge in the lobby, direct elevator access to each apartment, a fitness center, an indoor swimming pool and outdoor hot tub, and cabana service on the ocean deck. - KRISTIN TAVEIRA
