Skiing with my dad

Most 11-year-olds kids don’t have their own personal ski instructor, but I do. That’s because he is my dad. My dad and I go skiing in Vermont almost every weekend at Mount Snow. When I go skiing with my dad I feel happy, because I’m able to ski with him and because I get to go before the mountain opens to the public. I like to go speeding down the mountain. It’s very fun to ski with There are a lot of great programs at Mount Snow: One is Snow Campers for ages 4 to 6, and the other is Mountain Riders/Mountain Camp for ages 7 to 14. In the Snow Campers program you have to choose to either ski or snowboard. The other program, Mountain Campers/Mountain Riders, you have to decide if you want to do Mountain Camp, where you can only ski, or Mountain Riders where you can only snowboard. Some of the trails on the mountain have bumps and steep hills, and if you are a beginner you should just go on the flat trails. There is a part of the mountain where you can do all these tricks and jump off the side of a truck and also go up it, but if you are a beginner I wouldn’t consider going there. They also have a lodge, so if you get cold or hungry you can go there.
Mount Snow is one of the most popular mountains in Vermont. It has 72 trails from beginner to advanced. The phone number for Mount Snow is 800-956-SNOW. They open in November and close when it starts to get warm. I also ski with my friends, but I ski with my dad a lot more. I get to the mountain at 8 a.m., and do a lot of runs before it opens. I have been skiing since I was 4, and I have been going up levels in the ski program, and now I am the highest level in the entire program, which is purple. We ski super-fast and go over very high jumps. A lot of my friends try to do tricks over the jumps. In the terrain park, they have a half-pipe and you go really high off the ground.
