Two crash scenes within about 100 yards of each other were causing delays Thursday morning on the eastbound Long Island Expressway in Holbrook, Suffolk County police said.

The accidents both occurred just before 8 a.m.

One crash involved an oil tanker truck and several passenger vehicles, while the other involved two cars, police said.

Police said there were no significant injuries.
The right lane of the expressway was closed in the area as a result of the crashes.

It was not clear how long the lane would remain closed.
