Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo took to the water to celebrate his 58th birthday with a fishing trip off Long Island.
Cuomo tweeted a photo of himself with a big smile and an ever bigger fish. "Fishing today off Long Island for my birthday. #IFISHNY," he wrote.
The unseasonably warm December weather probably made him pretty happy, too.
Melissa DeRosa, Cuomo's communications director, also shared the photo and wished the governor a happy birthday, tweeting: "December weather can't keep @NYGovCuomo from fishing on his birthday. Next stop @DeadliestCatch. Happy bday, Gov!"
