Bay Shore Seafest to include free shuttles, town announces
The Town of Islip will offer free shuttle buses during the 2017 Great South Bay Seafest Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Bay Shore Marina on South Clinton Avenue, town officials announced.
The buses will run every 10 to 15 minutes throughout the day.
There will be a continuous loop of three vans and they will arrive at each stop every 10 to 15 minutes. The stops are at the following locations:
- Bay Shore Marina at the corner of Bayview Avenue and Auburn Avenue;
- Ocean Avenue and Gibson Street;
- Mechanicsville Road and Smith Avenue;
- Bay Shore High School at the corner of 2nd Avenue and Perkal Street.
The free festivities include live music and entertainment, children’s games and activities, a food court, pony rides and a petting zoo, free lessons on paddleboarding and kayaking, a snapper fishing clinic, and more.
