Baywood crash hurts woman, two children, police say

A woman and two children were injured in a Baywood area car crash Friday afternoon, Suffolk County police said.

The woman’s vehicle struck a telephone pole then two parked cars on Brookdale Avenue at 4:36 p.m.

She and the children were transported to nearby hospitals, police said.

Third Squad detectives were investigating, a police spokesman said.
