Charges for massage worker at Manhasset spa
A Manhasset spa worker was arrested on charges of practicing without a license Tuesday after allegedly giving a massage to an undercover detective, Nassau County police said.
Detectives from the narcotics/vice squad said Fan Wenping, 47, of 13263 Maple Ave., Flushing, Queens, performed massage therapy on a detective for a fee at Relax Zone Your Spa, 337 Plandome Rd., at about 3:30 p.m.
Wenping, who is not licensed to practice massage therapy, is charged with two counts of unauthorized practice of a profession, police said. He was scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday at First District Court in Hempstead.
