Suffolk Legis. Steve Flotteron picks judge’s brother as aide

The Suffolk County Legislature last week unanimously approved the hiring of District Court Judge John Schettino’s brother as a part-time legislative aide to newly elected Republican Legis. Steve Flotteron.
Joseph Schettino, 62, of Bay Shore, will be a part-time Legislative aide II making $15,000 a year. “I’m very fortunate to be getting someone of his talent who has 40 years experience as a lawyer,” said Flotteron.
