This year’s ceremony marks the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks and will feature an expanded evening of prayer, reflection and remembrance as the sun sets over the Long Island Sound. Members of the community are invited to join local clergy, elected officials, first responders, 9/11 First Responders, Smithtown Public Safety, Nissequogue, Smithtown and St James Fire Departments, United States service members, veterans, community leaders and the families of those lost as Smithtown honors the 53 residents of the township who were killed on September 11, 2001
San Gennaro Feast
Our family-friendly Feast opens at 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 10 with Mass, followed by a traditional outdoor procession. Our parishioners prepare Italian specialties such as sausage and peppers, eggplant, meatballs, pasta, pizza, and zeppole. We offer delicious pastries and gelato.
