Cops: Man arrested in Mineola bank robbery

An Amityville man has been arrested for his part in robbing a Mineola bank on Monday, police said.
Nathaniel Kelly Jr., 60, was arrested in Amityville at 1:10 p.m. Tuesday, Nassau police said. Police said he drove the getaway car on Monday that the robber of a TD Bank at 540 Jericho Turnpike used to flee the scene.
Police said a man entered the TD Bank about 2:17 p.m. on Monday and gave the teller a note demanding cash, then asked for money. After he was given the cash, the suspect fled. No injuries were reported, police said.
Kelly was charged with second-degree robbery and is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday in First District Court in Hempstead.
The other suspect in the robbery is still at large. Police said he was described as being 5 ft. 8 inches to 5 ft. 10 inches tall with and a slim build. He was wearing a brown hoodie, baseball cap and sunglasses.
