A Brentwood woman was arrested Tuesday for possession of more than $9,000 in stolen jewelry, for illegally selling prescription drugs, and for offering medical advice and treatment without a license, all out of a Westbury general store, police said.

Milagro Sosa, 55, of 1029 Suffolk Ave., was arrested while working at Remesas Gigante, 249 Drexel Ave. Suite A at 3:20 p.m., police said.

Sosa was charged with criminal possession of stolen property, criminal impersonation, unauthorized practice, and criminal diversion of prescriptions.

She was to be arraigned Wednesday in First District Court, Hempstead.
