A Wyandanch man was arrested on Saturday after Nassau County police said he was found rolling a joint in his car while his two young children sat in the backseat.

Police said Donail Campbell, 21, was sitting in a 2003 Cadillac parked in Bethpage at 2:45 p.m. while rolling a joint of marijuana while his girlfriend and their two children, ages 1 and 3, sat in the car.

Police arrested Campbell, who they said also had crack cocaine and $1,329 in cash on him in addition to the marijuana. He was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

At his arraignment on Sunday at First District Court in Hempstead, Campbell was ordered held on $27,000 cash bail or $52,000 bond. He is due back in court on Thursday.

His girlfriend and their two children were released at the Second Precinct, police said.
