Yaphank man killed in Ridge crash, cops say

A Yaphank man was killed Wednesday during a single-vehicle crash in Ridge, the Suffolk County police said.
Marc Riccio, 47, was driving a 2008 Toyota Highlander north on William Floyd Parkway, north of Whiskey Road, when his vehicle veered off the roadway, striking a guardrail and overturned around 8:30 a.m., police said.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The vehicle was impounded for a safety check. Detectives are asking anyone with information to call 631-852-8752.
