An overturned vehicle slowed traffic on the westbound Southern State Parkway in Wantagh Sunday morning, when tens of thousands are expected to attend the nearby Bethpage Air Show at Jones Beach State Park.

New York State Police said the injuries in the 7 a.m. crash at the Wantagh Avenue exit were non-life-threatening.

All lanes were open less than an hour later, state police said. The crash was just west of Route 135.

Day 2 of the air show starts at 10 a.m. Sunday. Areas of fog are expected to give way to partly sunny skies with a high temperature of about 71 degrees at Jones Beach today.

A crowd of 171,000 attended the show’s first day Saturday, watching as the Blue Angels capped off the day.

The Memorial Day weekend spectacle, which goes until 3 p.m., features dazzling stunts, military demonstrations and vintage performances of World War II aircraft. This is the 20th anniversary of the show.
