2 men arrested on weapons charges at condemned home, police say

Suffolk County police said they have arrested two men after searching a Medford home that has been condemned.
Officers seized cocaine, a loaded handgun and drug paraphernalia after executing a search warrant at the Wilson Avenue home shortly after 6 a.m. Tuesday, police said in a news release Tuesday night.
Pshawn Smith, 42, was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, three counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia and second-degree unlawful possession of marijuana.
Leslie Harris, 24, was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
During the search, officers found a loaded .380 caliber automatic handgun, cocaine, heroin and marijuana, scales, packaging materials and a surveillance system, police said.
The Brookhaven Town Building Department has condemned the home, deeming it uninhabitable, police said.
