2 men slashed in Copiague deli by man with knife, police say

Suffolk County police are investigating a double slashing at a deli in Copiague Saturday night.
Detectives said a man walked into the Amigo Deli, 1715 Great Neck Rd., about 11:40 p.m. and slashed two men on their arms with a knife.
Police, who said the circumstances surrounding the incident had not been determined, identified the victims only as Copiague residents, ages 43 and 46. Both were taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip with nonlife-threatening injuries.
Police were searching for the suspect and said anyone with information could call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-8477.
