2 try to rob Subway shop in South Huntington, police say

Suffolk County police said they are investigating an attempted armed robbery Thursday night of a Subway shop in South Huntington.
Two men, one them possibly armed with a gun, entered the Subway at 275 Walt Whitman Rd. about 6:25 p.m. and demanded cash, police said.
They left without getting any money, police said.
Other details were not available Friday morning.
