Nassau County police are investigating a complaint of swastikas being drawn in the snow Saturday night in Mineola.

According to Third Squad detectives, three swastikas were reported at 5:30 p.m. to police, who found a total of five swastikas drawn in three locations.

A police spokesman on Sunday said that after the first three swastikas were discovered, officers “canvassed the area” and found the other two. He said the names of the streets where the swastikas were found would not be released.

Detectives request anyone with information to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
