A Valley Stream man has been arrested in Virginia on charges of assaulting a man, police said.
Anthony Manno, 20, was arrested and charged with aggravated malicious wounding, a felony, following an altercation, the Arlington County Police Department said in a crime report.
Around 12:40 a.m. on Jan. 3, officers responded to a business on N. Glebe Road where they said Manno allegedly entered an "employee-only area of the business" and "assaulted" an employee, police said.
The type of business was not immediately known based on information in the crime report.
Manno was scheduled for arraignment Monday, according to online Arlington General District Court records. He is scheduled to return to court for a bond hearing Tuesday and a preliminary hearing on Feb. 9.
Joseph King, the attorney identified as representing Manno in court records, did not immediately return a telephone message left at his office late Monday.
