A Roslyn Heights gas station was robbed by an armed man on Saturday night, Nassau police said.

A man carrying a black semi-automatic handgun went to the Shell Gas Station on Roslyn Road at about 8:55 p.m. and demanded money from a 37-year-old employee who was standing outside, police said.
The employee went inside the station and gave the robber money from the cash register.

The robber, who was described as wearing a brownish hoodie, white sweatpants and black shoes, then left the scene on foot heading north on Roslyn Road, police said.

No one was injured.
