Police seek armed robbers of Medford convenience store

A $5,000 reward will be paid to anyone who helps the police arrest two robbers, one armed with a handgun, who hid their faces behind white surgical masks while stealing cash from a Medford store in October, authorities said on Thursday.
One of the robbers struck a clerk — who was treated at a hospital for minor injures — before they ran out with cash, Suffolk County police and Crime Stoppers said in a statement.
The 24/7 Convenience Store they robbed at about 11:38 p.m. on Oct. 7 is at 2222 Rte. 112.
Police could not say whether this was the sole robbery the men were suspected of committing.
The robber with the gun wore a dark sweatshirt with a hood, red sweatpants with white stripes and sneakers. His partner also wore a hooded sweatshirt that was a light color on top and a dark color on the bottom, with an unidentified emblem, dark pants and sneakers.
