Musa Mansoor, 19, of Westbury, was arrested Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016, and charged with grand larceny and criminal contempt in connection with a car theft in Levittown as well as items stolen from unlocked vehicles, Nassau County police said. Credit: NCPD

A Westbury man has been charged with stealing a car in Levittown last month as well as with multiple thefts from vehicles dating to October, Nassau County police said Sunday.

According to police, Musa Mansoor, 19, of Carman Avenue, stole a 2006 Chevy Malibu that was parked on Center Lane on Nov. 15 at 9:50 a.m.

Police said the defendant also committed several larcenies from Oct. 6 through Nov. 15 by entering unlocked vehicles in Levittown and taking items inside.

Second Squad detectives said Mansoor was arrested Saturday at his home. He is being charged with grand larceny and criminal contempt and will be arraigned Sunday in First District Court in Hempstead.
