Trucks parked in a Bellmore auto body shop were broken into and damaged Monday, with some spray painted with graffiti, Nassau County Police said.

At around 12:26 a.m., a man, around 20 years old and wearing a white sweatshirt and pants, entered Newbridge Auto Body at 1353 Newbridge Rd., staying for around an hour and a half, police said.

During that time, the man broke into about eight customers’ vehicles, and a silver truck with a green cab and a 2005 white Isuzu utility truck were each sprayed with graffiti, police said. A GPS device and diesel tuner were also taken, police said.

First Squad detectives ask anyone with information to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers, anonymously, at 800-244-TIPS.
