A Roosevelt man was killed Thursday when a driver struck his motorcycle on the Belt Parkway in Queens, the NYPD said.

Keith Salley Jr., 30, was northbound in the right lane of the parkway at 133rd Avenue in Laurelton shortly after 1 a.m. when he was struck, police said.

Driver Kardeem Thomas, 26, of Irvington, New Jersey, was attempting to change from the center lane to the right lane in a Kia sedan when he hit the 2015 BMW motorcycle, hurling Salley to the ground, police said.

Police caught up to Thomas about a mile away, near the intersection of Elmont Road and Linden Boulevard in North Valley Stream, police said. He was later charged with leaving the scene of an accident that resulted in death.

Salley was declared dead at Long Island Jewish Valley Stream hospital, police said.

CORRECTION: The Belt Parkway collision was at 133rd Avenue in Laurelton, police said. A previous version of this story had an incorrect location for the collision based on earlier information from police.
