A Baldwin man was arrested Tuesday shortly after he robbed a Lynbrook credit union, police said.

Gordon Pierre Delva, 28, entered the Bethpage Federal Credit Union at 613 Sunrise Hwy. at 12:01 p.m. Tuesday and gave the teller a note demanding money, police said.

Delva fled with an undisclosed amount of money, but was arrested a short time later about two blocks away by Lynbrook Village police, Nassau County police said.

There were 10 employees and four customers in the credit union at the time, and there were no injuries, police said.

Delva was awaiting arraignment Wednesday in First District Court in Hempstead on a charge of third-degree robbery, police said.
