An 18-year-old bicyclist from Uniondale was charged with robbing two cellphones from two teenagers, Nassau police said Friday.

On Thursday, Deionte Reid, who was riding his red BMX bicycle, grabbed an iPhone from a 17-year-old male and got away by cycling north on Manor Street.

The police said they investigated, and arrested the defendant at home.

The victim’s cellphone was recovered.

Police said further investigation led to the discovery of a second male victim, also 17, whose cellphone was grabbed by Reid, again while he was riding his BMX bicycle in Uniondale on Jan. 8.

The defendant, who had an open warrant from a domestic incident, was charged with two counts of robbery second degree, unauthorized use of a vehicle and aggravated harassment, police said.

Reid was scheduled to be arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on Friday.

Anyone else who may be a victim should call police at 516-573-6154.
