A Farmingville man accused of stalking pop star Billie Eilish was struck and killed by a Long Island Rail Road train, according to an MTA Police Department spokesperson and court records.

Prenell Rousseau, 30, was on the tracks east of the Westbury LIRR station at 5:38 a.m. Wednesday when he was hit by a train with scheduled service from Huntington to Atlantic Terminal, according to the spokesperson.

A preliminary investigation determined  "no criminality is suspected," said the spokesperson, adding  Rousseau was pronounced dead at the scene.

Eilish obtained a restraining order against Rousseau in 2020, according to Los Angeles County Superior Court documents.

The 10-time Grammy Award winner was first granted a temporary restraining order against Rousseau in May 2020, according to the documents. That restraining order was then extended for three years, the court papers said. Eilish was 18 at the time.

Rousseau had appeared at Eilish's Los Angeles home seven times between May 4, 2020, and May 5, 2020, according to court documents obtained by The Guardian.

"While we waited for security, Mr Rousseau remained on our porch, sat down and began to read a book, while also continuing to engage in a periodic monologue," Eilish wrote in court documents, according to The Guardian. "My father repeatedly asked him to leave, but he refused."

There were about 100 passengers aboard the train that hit Rousseau, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority spokesperson said. No injuries were reported. Riders boarded another train to "complete their journey," the spokesperson said.

The crash caused severe disruptions on the railroad, Newsday previously reported.

It marked the second fatality involving an LIRR train this month. On March 18, a train entering the Freeport station struck and killed a pedestrian who had trespassed on the tracks, Newsday reported. No criminality was suspected in that incident, which caused delays and cancellations.

Eilish played a pair of shows at UBS Arena in Elmont on Oct. 25 and 26, 2025, as part of a tour promoting her studio album, "Hit Me Hard And Soft."
