Nassau County police are investigating the discovery of a body found Tuesday evening in Hempstead Harbor in Roslyn, officials confirmed.
The male body was found shortly before 6 p.m. in the waters near West Shore Road, a Nassau police spokeswoman said.
The spokeswoman described the scene as an "active investigation" and said additional details were not immediately available.
