The woman who wore a pink scarf and carried a large tote to rob a Brentwood bank was nabbed Thursday, a day after detectives released surveillance images and asked the public for help, Suffolk police said.

Annette Vogelfang, 51, of Roosevelt Street in Brentwood, was expected to be arraigned Friday on a charge of third-degree robbery.

Police said she robbed the Citibank on Suffolk Avenue about 1:45 p.m. Wednesday, when she gave the teller a note demanding cash and ran off with the money.

Photos showed the robber carried a large, metallic-colored tote bag and wore a bright pink scarf over her hair, white-rimmed sunglasses and several rings.

Other details were not available Thursday night, police said.
