An underage police agent was able to buy alcoholic beverages at four of the six stores recently inspected in the Town of Islip, police said.

Suffolk County police said Monday that workers at the four stores were charged with violation of State Liquor Authority laws.

Police said the businesses were:

  • 7-Eleven, 197 Main St., East Islip
  • USA Gas Midpoint Mart, 171 Carlton Ave., East Islip
  • Gulf Gas, 660 Islip Ave., Brentwood
  • Shell Gas, 701 Islip Ave., Brentwood

Two businesses refused to sell to the underage agent. They were the 7-Eleven 2 East Main St. in East Islip and the 7-Eleven at 500 Islip Ave., Islip, police said.
