Police are investigating after two homes were struck by gunfire Wednesday in Brentwood.

Suffolk County police said the shots fired on St. Andrews Drive were reported in a 911 call at 3:05 p.m.

Third Squad detectives responded.

There were no injuries and there have been no arrests, police said.

Police said investigators determined two homes were struck by bullets and that “several shell casings” were found on the ground in the area. Witnesses reported that the suspects fled in a vehicle, but no vehicle description was released by police.

The investigation is continuing.
