Bullet shot through North Bay Shore home hits man, cops say

A 25-year-old man who was staying at an apartment on Hemlock Drive in North Bay Shore early Saturday was struck by a bullet that went through the home at about 4 a.m., Suffolk County police said.
Police said the man, who was not identified, was taken to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore for non-life-threatening injuries.
The incident appears to be targeted, police said, and Third Squad detectives are investigating.
