Nassau County police have arrested and charged a Pennsylvania man in the burglaries of two Nassau eateries and a salon, thefts that they said he carried out in 2015 and 2016.
As a result of an investigation, Carl Esposito, 54, of Route 611 in Scotrun, Monroe County, was arrested Wednesday by detectives in a Pennsylvania correctional facility where he was serving time for unrelated offenses.
He was arraigned Thursday in First District Court in Hempstead on three counts of felony third-degree burglary, and two of misdemeanor criminal mischief and petty larceny, according to online court records. He was held on bail of $30,000 bond or $15,000 cash. His next court appearance is Monday, online records show.
