Nassau cops arrested a Hempstead man Monday morning in connection with a burglary in Uniondale, police said.

Police said the man was reported by neighbors looking into windows near Braxton Street in Uniondale about 11 a.m. Monday. Police found Jahkeem Jiles, 27, on the side of one the homes, where he ran away from officers, authorities said.

Police arrested Jiles at Hofstra University, where authorities found evidence he had entered a home on nearby Braxton Street and stolen valuables, police said.
