Two men robbed a cabdriver at gunpoint Sunday morning in Roosevelt, Nassau police said.

The cabdriver, who works for New York Taxi, was picking up a fare at about 4:56 a.m. at 43 Lee St. when he was approached by two men armed with a handgun, police said. The suspects ordered the driver out of the cab. They then took the driver’s cash, wallet and cellphone before fleeing on foot eastbound on Lee Street, police said.

The driver was not injured. The suspects are described as two men in their late teens to early 20s, who were both wearing dark-colored, hooded jackets.
