Calverton woman arrested on DWI charge in crash, police say
A 25-year-old Calverton woman was arrested and charged with drunken driving after she lost control of her car and crossed the centerline on Bellows Pond Road in Hampton Bays early Wednesday, striking another vehicle, police said.
No one was injured in the crash, which occurred just after 12:30 a.m., Southampton Town police said.
The driver, Amber McArthur, was charged with driving while intoxicated and was issued citations for unsafe lane change and speed that was “unreasonable and imprudent,” police said.
Arraignment details were not available.
